Bicycling, hiking, roller blading, non motorized use. Nations longest hiking trail (about 4500 miles) runs right through Barry County and several miles of the trail are very close to Indian Valley Campground. Here is a link to the Chief Noonday Chapter of the NCT that has several on line maps. There is a trail head just 4 miles from camp on Crane road. It is a beautiful 3 mile hike to Johnson road, so 6 miles out and back. A very nice easy walk through a Audubon Society wetlands with many species of plant life and birds, approximately 1.1 mile loop back to parking. Only room for a few cars. About 7 miles from Camp.
